WELCOME TO THE
DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF GUAM
Where America's Day Begins
Guam, tano I man Chamorro (land of the Chamorro), is the westernmost territory of the United States located in the western Pacific Ocean. The island operates under a single level of government, with executive, legislative, and judicial branches, as well as 19 municipalities.

Under the Organic Act of Guam (1950), civilian government was formally established, allowing local representation in government affairs. The governor, however, would be appointed by the federal government until the Guam Elective Governor Act was passed by the U.S. Congress in 1968.

Today, Guam's citizens elect a governor and lieutenant governor, 15 senators in the Guam Legislature, a non-voting delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives, 19 mayors, and 6 vice mayors.

A Message from the Chairman
The Democratic Party of Guam is a big-tent party, and we bring together people from all walks of life to promote the shared beliefs and values we hold. Our island is our home, and we want to ensure that our people have opportunities to prosper so our children, too, can enjoy the beautiful island paradise we take for granted.

As we approach the 2026 Primary and General Elections, we need your support to accomplish our goals. Now more than ever, Democrat ideals are being threatened for the sake of headlines; now more than ever, our community needs Democrat leaders in office to ensure that our future generations can prosper.

I thank you for your continued commitment and dedication. Together, we will move forward with confidence and purpose not just in this election season, but in the years to come.

Biba Democrats!

Biba Guam!
Senceremente,
Anthony P. Chargualaf, Jr.
